1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 65,000 Original Miles. The car has had a recent paint job (base & Clear)in the factory silver paint code. It was an original vinyl top car. No metal work was needed to repair this car, all qtrs lower fenders etc where all rust and rot free. The engine compartment has been detailed. Valve covers and air cleaner where sand blasted and repainted in the correct colors. It has four new shocks, oil and trans serviced, new cap, wires, rotor, plugs, new valve cover gaskets (felpro) and air filter. The exhaust has been replaced from the engine manifold back. The underbody is in excellent shape with no frame rot anywhere, this was a garage kept car with no winters. The rubber body mounts are still soft. The interior: Headliner is excellent, rugs excellent, dash is excellent with no fade or cracks. The drivers seat has a tear that was repaired. The original rubber cadillac crest mats are all there as well. The power antenna does work, however I have not been able to get the AM radio working. All windows work and the drivers side has a new AC delco replacement motor. All original keys are there and all locks work. Power seat works. AC does not work. Blower motor has been tested and is functional, the AC relay was also replaced. I have not investigated further. The car retains its original T3 high and low beam headlamps, a rare find. The original spare seems to never have been used. The owners manual and copy of original title are in the glove box. The car currently needs the rear qtr panel emblems and and new windshield (8" crack from the top side down). Tires are fair but should be replaced. The chrome is in very good shape on the car. Overall there are some imperfections but the car is extremely presentable. Mechanically the car runs, shifts through all gears correctly. The Idle speed operates correctly on a cold start and kicks down correctly to a normal idle. Please contact me with any questions John 908-723-3573.
