1989 BMW K-Series

BMW K100 RS Here's the story: Sitting in a garage for 6 years. Gas was dried in the tank, melted the rubber and messed up the fuel pump. I put another fuel pump in from a junk car. Ran rough for a few minutes, cleared up and now runs perfect. Have ridden for 20 miles and rides good, runs good. Rear brakes are soft. Not a bad motorcycle. Has been dropped once, see pics. New tires, 6 years old. Corbin seat. While I was working on it, I saw a decal under the seat that said " Speedo changed at 30,000 miles". Don't know but it looks good to have that many miles on it. Needs a battery and regular maintenance. Title in hand. Any questions call (865) 947-6772 (home phone). The difference between the stock fuel pump and junk car fuel pump is the pickup screen. I purchased a new pickup screen for the BMW model and it fit perfect. The fuel pump needs to be installed permanently but runs ok as is. Also have a junk battery installed to start it with.
