1972 Trans Am 455 HO, 4 spd. 2nd lowest production year for Trans Am. M2 muncie 3.73 Posi Rear window defroster remove mirro. Cameo white with correct (repro) blue stripe decals/Blue vinyl interior. Engine #'s don't match but is a 1970 455 YA code block that has been professionally rebuilt less then 500 miles ago. It has 1969 closed chanber heads with HEI distributor and headers, but is otherwise built to stock specs and painted correct correct color. Clutch is new and trans shifts perfect. Rear end was professionally rebult less then 300 miles ago (clutches bearings etc.) Front end was rebuilt. New exhaust with correct routing and tips. Paint was newly done a few years ago but has not left garage to get faded or chipped. Excellent Shape. Bumper, gille, ground effects, spoilers, and glass in excellent shape (windshield is farely new). Interior is in excellent shape, but seats and door panels are from a 76 TA and the carpet is new. Vinyl has a couple of small cracks but no tears or holes and you must be really close to find flaws. Radio is not original, has old dial type cassette. Package tray has 6x9 speakers but they have been dyed blue to match interior and blend in well. Original 8 track player is still in console. T/A radials on restored ralley's. Trunk and fender has no signs of rust. Car has been undercoated. The core support has hole where hood pins once were, but hood must have been replaced as it has signs of them. Most of the work was done to car in 1997-98 and car has been driven less then 500 miles since. Receipts for all work included. Car needs nothing to drive or hit the local cruise in's or shows. It is not a "clone", is a real Trans Am, but is not 100% #'s matching car, therefore I'm not trying to get the 30K these cars bring. The car drives great. Excellent Investment!!!
