1965 mustang fastback,originally a california a-code mustang,beautifully built into a gt-350 r-code mustang with proper front end and oil cooler.exceptional condition both mechanically and cosmetically,the blue shelby stripes are extended both outside and inside the car running down the dash and also on the rear fold down seats,looks fantastic.note that the r-code package is so complete that the rear valance and rear bumper are the r-code plastic also a fiberglss cowl hood with pins all light weigt pieces.car has a thermastat activated front fan for the heavy duty aluminum radiator and oil cooler, car also has rare glass/plastic rear window that has a vent that runs along the top edge of window as these rare cars would make alot of back pressure and blow out the rear window .car has 3point rollbar and full race black bucket seats with rci blue race quality 4point harness ,carbon fiber instrument panel and glove box,georgous chrome and white faced guagesand bullitt side mirrors.the car was originally restored in 02/03 in california and featured on horse power tv from the california good guys tv show,then in 06 fraser dante from atlanta boughtthe car and did the r-code makeover fraser dante is a well known collector car shop that prides itself on quality work, once car was complete fraser dante entered car in car show to represent there shop getting best of show car was also used in charity drive with nascar legend david pearson,the car was also featured on cover of mustangs unlimited parts magazine 07/08 also in there calander as well in 07, all come with car..the motor is a professional built roller rocker hi-po 5.0litre with aluminum performer 289 intake and elderbrock 650cfm carburator with heavy duty fittings j/r steel heads and performance cam gives this car a great rumble,dual ceramic coated tri-y headers and new aluminized exhaust and flowmasters. Rebuilt top loader 4 speed and black performance 9" ford 3.55 gear. The car has outstanding compression, 175 to 185 lbs across. Motor was dynoyd at over 350hp at time of build. The frontend is completly rebuilt, ball joints, tie-rods, centrelink, fresh bushings, ford motorsports 1" drop front and rear with Shelby traction bars and heavy duty front swaybar, valuable "boyd smoothies" 17" rims with goodrich g force sport "z" tires. This car sounds and runs like something from Nascar, and has an amazing history all on disk.
