"California - Classic, Located in Ohio" 1970 Chevrolet C/20 3/4-Ton Pickup Truck (Original: Medium Bronze & White in color) In 2001 I purchased this truck from a old friend who was the original owner when I lived in So.California. I drove it back to Ohio in late 2004 when I moved. It's "350 V-8" ran great coming across country with A/C that worked very well. It has Heavy Duty Rear Springs and Trailer hitch receiver, 2-20 gallon side tanks for a total fuel capacity of 58 Gallons including the main tank (Great for storing fuel for ATV's or driving 700 miles nonstop), Transmission Cooler, Power Brakes. It has been sitting unused since 2005 when I bought a new Diesel Truck I have started it from time to time but I think the gas has gone bad as the last time I started it it ran ruff which it never had done before then the battery gave out, so you will need to replace the battery. It still has a California Title & It's Original 1970 issued California Plates. It is a very nice original truck for someone to spend very little time and money cleaning it up & putting it back on the road. It will need to be taken out on a trailer or flatbed truck since it has not been driven in almost 7 years and is not currently registered. You will need to recover the seat. It has a new set of 4-Kelly Safari LT235/85R16 tires so you won't need to replace them. It has a nice fiberglass shell which has been on it most of it's life. It has 96871 original miles and has it's original sheet metal. As you can see from the under carriage pictures it is very clean and solid having never been in salt. The paint is in very good driver condition. I kept it around with the intention of pulling the motor and detailing the engine compartment so I could take it to local car shows but time & health have caught up with me so I am letting it go to someone that can do it justice. ***I don't think you will find a cleaner unrestored 40 year old California truck for this price in the east!
