1989 Jeep Comanche (MJ) I purchased this jeep 2 years ago to build it into a rock crawler, it originally was a 2wd long bed. Here is a list of things that has been installed on this jeep. 4wd AX-15 (5speed) Transmission NP231 Transfer Case SYE kit (slip yoke eliminator) Ford 8.8 rear axle with disk brakes, lock right locker, 4:10 gears High pinion Dana 30 front axle with disk brakes, lock right locker, 4:10 gears 3 link long arm kit, 6 inch coils, 6 inch lift shocks, HD track bar with HD relocation mount from Iron rock off road SOA (spring over axle) in the rear with opening shackles Tube work door rock guards, cab loop, raised flat bed 1 ton cross over steering with dampener 35 inch BFG KM2's on black rock wheels 97-01 Cherokee front clip with H4 bulb conversion The gas tank has been raised, so it won't be smashed when rock crawling This jeep also has fuel injected 4.0L, cold AC. I painted the jeep flat black for the time being, I was planning on getting the 97-01 Cherokee doors and finders. You can pick them up at any jeep yard for fairly cheap. The doors and finders that are on the jeep have some dings and dints which is to be expected. The passenger side mirror has been knocked off. there is a place to install a tool box on the bed, and the reason the flat bed is raised is so that you can put a full size spare under the bed. I drive this jeep on average 100 miles a day. With the combination of the gears and tire size it gets 21 mpg on the highway.
