Flathead V8 8BA. 3 speed on the column. Good condition for a 60 year old truck. Mostly all original condition. This truck sat in a barn for 20 years or more before I got it. I painted the outside with hot rod black enamel. The interior has the original blue with all the patina. It was very solid with some rust but a lot of dents from farm use. I cut out all the rust and welded metal or patch panels. Someone has welded metal in the bed floor. Drive train all original.New radiator. I rebuilt both water pumps,rebuilt the carb, replaced fuel pump with a new Carter, All new hoses and belts, New plugs,points,condenser,Distributor cap & rotor and wires. Everything replaced on the brakes.Master cylinder all wheel cylinders,hoses and steel lines new brake light switch. I replaced all the seals in the rear end.New rear park brake cables. New signals and wiring. New 8 volt battery. All new glass and rubber, all new door window kits. I drive this truck almost daily it runs and drives good. I have probably put 300 or 400 miles on it. I have only driven it locally because of the low geared rear. It does leak a little oil. and smokes a little.All gauges work but the speedometer I checked this and it seems to be the gear in the trans. I just have not taken it apart to see whats wrong. If you use the buy it now I am adding another engine with the truck it's a 40 over 1951 Flathead truck engine with a Edelbrock double deuce intake manifold and a Mallory dual point distributor.
