NO RESERVE AS WIFE WANTS IT GONE Up for bid is a 1995 BMW 540i which I originally purchased through a family member's dealership with every intention of fixing it up and driving it as my 3rd car. Plans changed when the car was left at the dealership to be worked on and being the fact that it was a family member, the car was left out and was to be worked on "when they had time". That was seven months ago and during that time, the the small passenger side rear window was broken, speakers were taken from the inside of the car, someone bumped the back of it and cracked the bumper and the catalytic converter was stolen. The dealership also lost my key for the car (they gave me a BMW key but I believe it's for another car). After all that and the car not being worked on, it ended up in my garage where my wife parks her van. We have 100% feedback and we are very honest sellers so I want to be straightforward and accurate in describing this vehicle as we want to be as clear as possible on the description of this item. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS and the seller takes no responsibility after the sale of this car. It is a SALVAGE REBUILT title and is ACTUAL MILEAGE to the best of my knowledge. Here is what I know about the car: Overall Condition: Car will turn over when starter fluid is sprayed into the intake. It will continue to run if you continue to spray into the intake and the engine runs and sounds very smooth. Car has a half tank of gas but for some reason will turn but not start unless you use starter fluid - THE CAR WAS NEVER WORKED ON AT THE DEALERSHIP so I don't know what is wrong with it; besides, the mechanics that had the car were only use to working on American Cars; my honest guess would be possibly a relay but I do not know for sure and I am not a mechanic. Tires and rims are in great shape and have a lot of rubber left - SEE PICS Cosmetic: Car does not have any real noticable rust. There may be some small areas in crevice of door but nothing to really note Car has SALVAGE REBUILT TITLE Overall paint is in decent shape Small ding on rear of car on driver's side - SEE PHOTO Crack in the rear bumper - SEE PHOTO Crack in bottom moulding below driver's side rear door - SEE PHOTO Interior leather needs some work - rear seats are not too bad but front seats may need to be recovered as they are dried out, you may be able to get away with dying the leather, leather is also cracked along the interior door panels. Carpet will need a very good cleaning or you may want to replace Dash is in decent shape Passenger Airbag appears to be deployed, not sure about driver's side as the steering wheel looks normal Spare tire was stolen Exhaust Pipe in picture behind the car is included with the sale of the car Underbody: I took a few photos but there does not appear to be any real rust and looks solid PLEASE EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS, SALE IS FINAL AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT SELL TO A BIDDER WITH VERY LITTLE FEEDBACK PAYMENT AND SHIPPING: Cash, Certified money or other secure payment method if agreed upon prior to final bid. 500.00 deposit due within 24 hours and the remainder of payment is required within 72 hours of sale.
