1966 Galaxie 500 XL convertable. This car has been in the family for the last 20 years. It has been stored indoors awaiting its resurection. The car is very solid inside and out. The frame has no rot or weak areas on it (not even that notorious spot on the frame behind the front fender. The body has normal rust spots but overall is very solid and salvagable. The interior has the center console with front buckets from the factory, it will need driver side floorpan. I have new springs, brakes and shocks for the car. All of the trim for the car is there its just in the trunk. It was taken off to start on the body work but I know longer have the time or the money. The drivetrain is a 390 V8 with a C6 automatic and a 9" rearend with posi. The motor does run and runs good. Although it has been about three years since the last time it was started. The tranny does work well also, we used to drive it up and down our dead end street just to keep things from freezing up on it. Th top also works but needs to be re-skinned. This is a very nice restoration car that would be a joy to drive. These are beautiful cars when done and have a powerful drivetrain. My loss could be your gain.
