This 2004 Pontiac Vibe is a really nice car, it is a one owner, has been consistently maintained, and belonged to responsible adults who are non-smokers. With this being said, I won't put you through the trouble of reading all the Good stuff first, although with this low asking price-you Will want to read on. I will tell you that this car does have a bad engine, it has a spun rod bearing. The engine is a Toyota 1zz 4cyl. and from what the owner has found out, an average replacement would be around $1200.00 (labor not included). The owners of this car purchased it new and have really enjoyed owning it. With the continued proper maintenance of this vehicle it was quite a shock when the engine gave out. Last fall they installed a new set of Bridgstone tires and at that time had the steering, suspension and brakes checked.
