1964 Ford Thunderbird Coupe Arizona car, Wimbledon White over Silver vinyl interior, 390 V8 with automatic transmission, Cold A/C, 91,762 miles actual miles, same owner from 1964 - 2007, clean, rust free, original condition with one older re-paint, well maintained, and a great driver. This original condition, well cared for Thunderbird was owned in Arizona from new until 2007 by the same owner. It was then donated to the local VA (Veterans Administration) in Arizona where it was raffled off as part of a fund raiser. The winning ticket holder brought the car to Michigan (it was assembled at the Ford plant in Wixom, MI) in 2007 where it was then sold to a local Grand Rapids resident. It has since been driven only on nice days and has been maintained as needed. This Thunderbird is equipped with the as-delivered 390 cubic inch V8 and standard automatic transmission. It is finished in Wimbledon White over Silver vinyl and except for one repaint, is un-restored and in remarkable condition. All of the gauges, lights, and switches work with their original factory finish still in very good condition. The factory air conditioning has been maintained/updated as needed, and still blows cold today. The seats have held up very well over the years with little fading given the fact that it’s 46 years old. The rest of the interior is pristine. The mechanicals have benefitted from regular maintenance. The car starts right up and runs/drives great. The exterior paint has consistent depth and application with no evidence of previous damage anywhere. The body gaps are consistent and straight. The wheel wells are extremely clean. The underside of the car is in excellent original condition, is very solid, and does not show signs of previous repairs or have any issues. Overall this T-bird looks to be what it is; a nice, clean, well maintained, original car that has been driven in nice weather and enjoyed responsibly. It would make a great addition to any collection and would be a wonderful car to drive and enjoy.
