Vehicle Detail
Great 1950s Custom Classic Cruiser. LOW RESERVE. (I have over $24K invested in this truck). This truck would have no problems at all making a cross-country trip. It has been used in our business for almost 5 years and has proven to be very dependable and reliable. For those who know cars/trucks, you know this truck is well worth the price just for the motor and transmission alone. This truck is not for the shy. It always strikes up a conversation no matter where you go. Everyone loves the way it looks and sounds, no matter how young or how old. 1952 Ford Sedan Delivery. All work performed in January 2007 by a local shop, which has been established here since 1954 and specializing in classic restorations and custom work. I have all receipts. NEW -- G.M. Performance Crate Motor 330 H.P. 350 V8, Edlebrock Performance Intake Manifold, HEI Electronic Ignition, Starter, Performance 4BBL Carburetor, Lower Ball Joints, Upper Control Arm Bushings, Harmonic Balancer, Water Pump, Fuel Pump, Motor Mounts, Transmission Mounts, Ignition Coil, Distributor Cap, Plug Wires, Spark Plugs, Flex Plate. REBUILT --- 700R4 Automatic Transmission, Cooling System, POR-15 gas tank treatment/cleaner. Complete front end from 1969 Chevy Chevelle. Power steering, power front disc brakes, tilt wheel, air conditioning, 2 speed electric wipers, dual glass pac exhaust, AM/FM/Cassette/10 Disc CD player/Sub Woofer, tires in fair condition. Speedometer, odometer, tachometer, gas gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge all work. Oil pressure gauge is after market. I purchased this car back in July 2005, drove it from Chico, CA, to Sierra Vista, AZ, without a problem. I had above mentioned work performed in hopes of keeping the car, but simply needed a larger work truck and recently purchased a Studebaker flatbed 1-ton for my business. On the open highway M.P.G. averages low 20s. A/C blows but needs to be recharged, car runs great, has been a great advertising car for our business. Body does need some rust issues addressed. Drivers side and passenger side floor boards have rust areas approximately 4" in diameter. Some cracking in areas where door handles and hood ornament were removed. Needs e/brake cable replaced, needs kick panels, gas tank does seep a little fuel when topped off, fuel float needs to be adjusted, and driver side rear seat mount needs to be replaced. Door poppers need work, both front doors and rear door open and shut solid. Poppers for front doors need to be replaced. To the best of my knowledge, this is all that needs to be addressed. Car is used as a daily work truck, it has been very dependable and reliable, always gets attention. Please understand this is not a 100 point show car or a full restoration. Car looks great from 10' away. Car is currently signed (vinyl lettering) for our business as depicted in the last few pictures. Vinyl lettering will be removed before buyer takes delivery. This has been a GREAT advertising vehicle for our plumbing comany -- just imagine your company's logo on the sides of it!!! Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this car before you bid. Cliff 520-266-0051. On Aug-10-10 at 17:40:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I removed all of the decals and had the paint buffed out. This classic beauty is ready to go home with the winning bidder. Lowering my reserve, too.
