Vehicle Detail
This is a 1970 Chevelle Malibu with a 350/350. It is a factory air car but the compresser and hoses are missing (but can be replaced). The body is very straight and has no rust. There was new half quraters installed in the body at the time it was painted which I have no idea how many years ago that was. The paint is a dark teal green base coat/clear coat and the clear is pealing off a bit on top of the front fenders. There are some small scratches around the body but are very small. Standing back about 10 feet from the car you can't see anything wrong with the paint...thats how small they are. There is a small crease in to side of the left front bumper. This interior needs new door panels, carpet and a dash pad. The seat covers are newer covers. The head liner is in great shape. The radio is also missing. The odometor says "40132" miles but I know that is "B.S.", I'm sure it has been turned over a time or two. It will cost between seven and eight hundred dollare to buy all thats needed to make the interior look like a new car. The engine runs good but it could use a tune up and plug wires also because they look old. It has a new Edlebrock 4bl. carb and has an alum. manifold. The right front inner fender well is cracked and should be replaced. It has some kind of "Hillbilly" muffler on it which has that popping sound like a John Deer tractor (I hope that didn't cost me a sale). The tires are about 70 to 75% and are in good shape. It has the Rally Sport rims. The brakes are good but I think could be blead a bit. I don't know much about the car because I traded for it about a month ago and its not what I want. I want another Model A Ford. I've been building Model A's for about 40 years and I thought a change would be nice but "NO", I want another Model A so I am selling this car for way less than what I traded for it. I've never tagget the car so I've never driven it more than around the block. I'm being very honest in saying that this car could be a car you would be proud to drive to a cruse in or car show for less than two grand in new parts and touch ups.
