If you think you saw this ad before, you're right. I'm relisting because the high bidder last week had problems that kept him from buying it. I will take $1500.00 no less... Please don't ask. These touring models are worth saving. I hope this one is for you. A couple of weeks ago, somebody not paying attention...... pulled out in front of me and this ACE Touring model. I loved this bike! Lighter than my Kawasaki Nomad, better (bigger) bags, and a joy to look at..... but now it needs at least a set of forks to make it OK again. I am not very mechanical, but if you are, this bike can be fixed with used parts. The forks are bent. windshield is broken at the bottom. there is a very small puncture in the radiator. The front wheel shows no damage that I can see. yoke bearings at top have popped out. there is a very tiny (really small) spot on the left front of the tank. There is a scrape mark on the bottom of left front roll bar, but it is not bent. Thats all the damage that I can see...... check the pictures carefully for details. I HAVE TRIED TO SHOW PLENTY OF DETAILED PICTURES, AND DESCRIBE THE DAMAGE TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. lOOK IT OVER AND ASK QUESTIONS. You can come here and start it up and inspect it before you bid, but the sale is final. The good part is that there is less than twelve thousand miles on it. This bike is really in nice condition from the forks back. It starts and runs perfect, tires are very good, brand new battery ( well, a month old ) . If you are mechanicly inclined, and round up some used parts this would be a $4500 bike when you finished. I have set a reserve for this auction. If one of you does not buy it, I will sell it piece by piece and get twice as much for it. Price out a set of bags like this, or a perfect engine. Gas tank, seat, fenders, tires and wheels, roll bars, kuryakin grips, and so on, and you will see that this popular bike is worth having. I cannot ship it, you will have to pick it up. It is being sold as is, but you can see it run. I require a two hundred dollar ( non refundable ) deposit within 24 hours of auction end, through paypal, and the balance in cash when picked up within seven days of winning bid.
