The original owner was over 80-years old when he died and left it to a relative, who didn’t need the truck, so he put it up for sale and I bought it from him. I am a registered dealer in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I’ve been selling vehicles on eBay for over 7 years and with 100% positive feedback. I am a very small dealer and I personally drive, inspect / repair and detail my own vehicles so I can describe them intimately when I list them for sale. This particular truck is unbelievably nice. It has never been driven hard, used commercially or abused in any way. You won’t find another 16-year-old truck as rust-free and well-cared-for anywhere. (For that matter, you’d be hard-pressed to find a truck that was even 10 years newer that was as nice!) It spent its winters in Florida and its summers here in PA. The undercarriage is absolutely in incredible condition. Not even any surface rust on it and it‘s been kept clean and detailed. The interior shows almost no wear at all. The body and paint are virtually perfect and almost completely original. The hood was re-painted because the clear coat started to peel and the silver portion of the driver’s door was re-pained due to a long scratch. I couldn’t see any other paint work and there is certainly NO rust anywhere. The truck runs, literally, as good as it looks. The driveline is tight. (no clunking or play in it). The steering is also tight and straight. The engine sounds perfect, as well. There are no noises in it……even at start-up……and the oil pressure is strong. There is no smoke out of the tail pipe. The transmission shifts perfectly. The A/C is ice cold. Absolutely everything in / on the truck works perfectly. It has synthetic engine oil in it. All the fluids are clean and full. Two of the tires (fronts) are brand new. The other two are still good and all are GOODYEAR WRANGLERS in the optional P265-75-R16” size. The original spare tire under the truck has never even been used. The exhaust system is a new stainless-steel MAGNAFLOW muffler with a stainless-steel tail tip. The wiper blades, oil & filter, rear shocks and front brake rotors are new as well. Quite simply, there is absolutely nothing I could find wrong with this truck. It runs, rides, drives, shifts and steers FAR better than you would expect. I won’t tell you it’s “like new”, because it’s 16 years old. I WILL tell you that you that this one is as close TO it as it could be and you won’t find one nicer! Because this truck is over 10-years-old, I could legally exempt the mileage and if I told you it had 50K on it, you’d believe it. I believe in being as honest as I can be, so, I left the mileage at its legitimate reading. The 146K is STILL way under average for the age of the truck. (Average would be over 240K.) If you’re looking for that “needle in the haystack” truck in the under $6K price range, you might as well stop looking. You’ve found it in this one.
