You are bidding on a pretty complete 1964 Buick Riviera. This car runs and drives would be great for someone with the time to actually restore it to its former glory. This car has the 401 nailhead engine. The looks great from about 5 feet but needs some bodywork. The previous owner likely did his own bodywork and threw a cheap paint job on after a hail storm. Floor pans and trunk seem solid and the body has really little to no rust other than surface rust. The rear quarters and part of the fenders look like the previous owner did his own body work, not super smooth. I took a look at it and they need to be stripped and smoothed out but not rusted through whatsoever.The car has new points and a new high pressure steering box hose (it leaked), I have a new heater core that I have not installed yet that I will throw in with the car and there is a slight hole in the muffler. The interior is pretty complete it just needs to be redone (tears and stains in seats).It needs a new headlight switch which you can order for about 20 bucks. AC compressor is on and hooked up but I think needs to be recharged. I have been driving this car as my daily driver but am looking for something more fuel efficient. This car would be perfect for someone with the time and resources to restore it. I have about 50 receipts from work done on the car from the previous owner, mainly routine oil changes etc. I am re-listing this vehicle because of a fake bidder. Serious Bids Only.
