2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab / Four Wheel Drive. Runs exellent and has ice cold air conditioning. This truck is being listed with a low reserve due to a mechanical issue with the four wheel drive transfer case. The four wheel drive engages as it should and pulls very well. There is a loud clunking sound coming from the transfer case when engaged. It will need repaired. The truck shifts and drives very good in two wheel drive. I had a mechanic look at the vehicle and he said I should find a used transfer case and change it out. I priced them from three to five hundred dollars and about two hours labor. There are a few minor dings but not bad as pictured. This truck shows and drives nice. The hood and driver front fender have been replaced due to a minor collision with a sign post last winter. I have the Car Fax printed out on this vehicle to validate the mileage and the minor damage that was reported. There is no history of flood, fire, structural damage or air bag deployment. Very dependable truck for the money. The tires are knobby and noisy on the highway. I would replace them with more streetable tires in the near future. Wheels are stock and in great condition. Front brakes, wheel bearings and rear u-joint was recently replaced. Has a nice Alpine AM/FM CD player installed. No wear showing on the carpet. The driver seat has a small 6x6 patch sewn over a warn area. The rest of the seat looks like new. The dash has some cracks common from sun exposure and there is some surface rust at the bottoms of both doors. The bed has a liner and is straight. The tailgate is straight and works very well.
