This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the Karmann Ghia enthusiast. I have never seen so much in one place going for one price. This is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder takes it all! There is so much here I cannot possibly list it all but I will try my best. Everything for sale is original VW no re-pop here. So on with the list!: There are 3 vehicles worth here: A green '64 Ghia, a red '72 convertible ghia, and a gray ghia (not sure what year) The Vin for the '64 is 978638 (IL) The Vin for the '72 is 1422138585 I cannot seem to find the Vin for the Gray one....not sure if maybe I'm not looking in the right places or if the Vin tag was removed in part of the restoration processes. When this vehicle is titled in your state they will assign one to you if it is not found. This is a common thing with vehicles of this age and a bill of sale should suffice. The only title I have is for the '64 but i know you can get a title through the DMV with a bill of sale. So there are 3 bodies, 3 engines, 1 rolling chassis, 1 chassis with floor pan that needs the engine mounted to it, and all the parts to complete a 3rd chassis. Trans for all, a spare center channel, spare front end body, frame with rear forks and detached front end assembly, extra trunk lids, extra roof, 9 front seats, plenty of back seats, loads of bumpers, tons of chrome trim pieces, speedometers & rpm gauges (more than needed), headlights, taillights, fuel tanks, spare tires, some of the tires are like brand new with nubs still on them some are shot, window lifts, loads of glass...in the glass pile is the convertible back glass with the defrost strips...I have seen this one piece of glass go for $400 by itself so you can imagine what you are getting here. There are boxes and boxes of every little do-dad, thingamagig and whatsit you can imagine. I haven't even tried pulling all this out as there is so much stuff. Hope the pictures show you just how much you are getting for such a low price. 3 whole vehicles worth! Included in this auction are 2 Bug Me videos: Step by step video series to train every owner of a bug, ghia, thing and early bus to be his own mechanic. Also included are a VW Ghia 1954-1979 Haynes Repair Manual, and a VW Ghia 1949-1969 Chiltons Guide. It is doubtful that another opportunity like this will ever come up so get it while you can. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Winning bidder takes it all. A deposit of $500 through paypal is required within 24 hrs. of auction end and the rest may be payed with cash, cashiers check or money order when the vehicles are picked up.
