*UPDATE* I forgot to mention the accident. As the Autocheck report says, the collision was minor. A woman in a Hyundai cut too close while trying to pull out from behind me and knicked my rear bumper and cracked the right rear tail light assembly. The damage was purely cosmetic and the repair was covered by her insurance so it was done well and you would never know that it happened. The body is relatively straight and doesn't appear to have much--if any--rust, and the engine runs, but unhappily. I spent a couple thousand dollars to have my mechanic work on this and not only did he fail to solve the engine problems, he somehow messed up the panoramic sunroof controls. The sunroof still slides, but only about an inch at a time (you have to press the button 15 times to get the sunroof all the way open, but then only once to close it again. I have no idea what could cause this). There are a few dings and scratches on the body from being parked on the street, but nothing major. The engine idles very rough and the coolant level dropped by about a quart after 6 months of sitting. Could be a coolant leak somewhere. The tires and battery are new, but the car has been sitting--unused--for over 6 months, so it is possible that the tires have warped. I don't want to drive it to find out because, as I said before, the engine is not happy. As you can see in the pictures, I put on cheap rims at some point when I switched tires. The original rims are in cosmetically fair condition (a few scrapes) but one rim is either warped or unbalanced and was causing some vibration while driving. I meant to take the original rims in to get them straightened and polished, but the car stopped working so I didn't want to spend the money. The original rims will be sold with the car if you want them. The car can not be test driven (again, the engine isn't happy, I don't want to risk further damage to it) but you can come by to kick the tires if you like. The reason for the bad angles on the pictures is that the car is in my driveway and there is no room to take a good head-on shot or shots of the entire car except from the back-left. The front-end is not shown well in the pictures. There are small dings from other drivers parking carelessly, but nothing major. I need this thing out of my driveway asap because I am moving at the end of the month! Thank you.
