Absoutly must sell ! My daughter leaves for college in 3 weeks and we are still short on her tuition. This is my 1953 MG TD roadster. It is in great condition and all numbers match. The original mg name for this color is ivory but is it more like butter in color, however the car was originally red. It has black interior which is in excellent condition, all guages and lights work with the exception of the original clock. I would have had it fixed but every one wanted to put a quartz movement in it. The original clock can be restored but you will have to remove and send in the entire Tachometer. It has painted wire wheels, chrome luggage rack, wire rock guards on the headlights, side windscreens and also has all 4 side curtins and a tonneau cover. It has the original owners manual and also the original map / trouble light. I have owned this car for almost ten years and it has been a great car, and has always been garaged. I have several books on the MG TD and on restoration and a workshop manual that I will include with the car. There are a couple small chips one on top of each of the doors where they used to rub but the doors have since been properly balanced. There is also a dime size hole in the soft top that has been patched. I have only been able to drive the car a couple time each season for the last 2-3 years. The car starts and runs fine just like always but this year when I got it out the float needle on the carburator is sticking so the Carbs will have to be cleaned otherwise gasoline overflows from the carburator. This is an easy and inexpensive repair especially if you can do the work yourself about $100.00 for rebuld kit. Please email with any questions and if you need any more information.
