1979 HONDA XR 500 4 STROKE CLASSIC VINTAGE Well I'm sure no expert on motorcycles but I am selling this for a friend. He's owned it for over 10 years and says it's the most dependable and easiest starting bike he has ever owned. I have ridden it, and it truly runs, rides, and starts excellent. He thinks it still has the original tires on it. It's sure not perfect, and won't win any beauty contests... but it does not have that much use on it, since it was new. It is an off road bike, so I can only give you a bill of sale. My opening bid is $400.00 with no reserve. It is over 30 years old and so obviously I am selling this bike as-is. I would rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than, be disappointed in anyway. Now that said... I honestly can't imagine finding a more unmolested and complete, low hour bike for the price. I also have the original owners manual for it, as well as the factory tool kit. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
