Video 1 with Top Up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Y4YRqRIJ1M Video 2 With Top Down http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3NQTpVRhVM Hopefully the videos will give a better idea on the paint and the condition of the car overall. I also felt it would be a good oppurtunity to hear the car run. Unfortunately just can't kick the tires. This vehicle has been a true labor of love. The drivetrain (Engine, Trans, Overdrive and Drive line has been rebuilt) about 1000 miles ago. When the vehicle was rebuilt we had it repainted and reupholstered. New Brakes, Monza Exhaust with quick trip headers, Majority of the electrical was redone all gauges rebuilt, including both carbs. The cooling system sports a newer heavy duty radiator keeps her running cool. The car rumbles just enough and it is a blast to drive. Also all four tires are Pirelli P 3000 Performance Tires which have not been on the car for 1000 miles they are rated at 85000 miles (paperwork on tires and everything else that was done on the car is included with the sale). 63 is one of the first years the MGB was built. This MG has overdrive which frankly is amazing that it was available that early. The car was appraised by USA Auto Appraisers in early June of this year and appraised at $16,000 http://www.usaautoappraisers.com/appraiserfaqs.htm. This link will provide information on the appraiser. The buy it now price is an aggressive price to get it sold.Feel free to email with any questions you may have or you can call 865-406-0773. The motor and drivetrain appear to be 1967 making it a more reliable 5 Main Motor versus the early 3 main or 5 Main Motors. Also note the early cars did not require all the smog requirements as the later cars making them a more desirable vehicle. The body is a 1963 the body # is 009102 which is a very early body #. A bit of history on the car. It appears to have spent the majority of it's life in the south as indicated below I will include any of that information for the new buyer. I have made every effort to document as much as possible so that the new owner will hopefully continue to do the same for many years to come. Included with the sale of the MG will be: 1. A set of invoices of parts and some of the labor that was done on the car. Invoices alone exceed $10K this does not include the car itself. 2. A partial history of the vehicles life including chain of ownership and where the car has lived. The history appears to go back to the late 70's. I am passing the information on to the next owner as a courtesy. The seller takes no responsibility for any of those documents or information contained there in. 3. You will recieve the original appraisal completed June 3, 2010 where the car was appraised at $16,000. 4. You will recieve all the keys which will be labeled and organized for the new owner. 5 You will recieve the executed title and the MGB Driver's Handbook. 6. You will recieve the Top and Toneau with their respective frames. Also any accessories i.e. car jack ect. The invoices, Title, appraisal and History will be mailed Fed Ex at the sellers expense upon payment in full. Please feel free to contact me with questions mamke sure you take the time to go over the complete listing before asking questions many of your questions will be answered just by looking at the photos and going through the listing.
