Vehicle Detail

This is a Numbers Matching Mercedes Benz 450 SE; 8 Cylinder, Gas powered, Power Moon Roof that works, all Power windows work with the exception of the drivers side window thaat does work but the gear is slightly stripped and you have to help the window up (repairable). The Hydrolic syspension was reworked a few years ago all new parts but now the car has sat for 3 years. She ran beautiful and now I cannot get her started, Minor electrical I am sure but I have not had the time to look into it. Tranny was fine before I parked it too but it was in need of a new set of brakes. The drivers side floor is weeks as is the passangers side, rust inside wheel well tubs and some around the wheel wells; the rocker panels are fair; the fenders are not too bad but need some work. The bumpers are in fair to good condition. Shoot you can probably sell the engine alone for $2,500.00 and the tranny for a good $1,200.00 at least but I do not have that kind of time. I have restored a number of Mercedes and had every intention of restoring this one but do to someone that decided to use my identity for hundreds of thousands of dollars in purchases I am not in a financial position to do so at this time. I drove the car until I parked it to restore it so she does or did drive and run but like I said I cannot get her started, maybe a mouse got to a wire, who knows. Oh, the tires are new and the spare tire is good. It does need some exgaust work too from the manifold on back pretty much. Only 109,000 miles on this Rare 450 SE. I can't seem to find any 450 SE's only SL's and SEL'sOn Jul-27-10 at 21:59:32 PDT, seller added the following information: The new front tires ran about $175.00 each, new Bosch coil too about $75.00; I do have the breather I had just pulled it off when I was trying to get it running, ( just did not have time to complete the job ). It is a Typical Mercedes Breather I just forgot to put it on before I took the pictures. The suspension work cost in excess of $800.00; Pretty cool car to cruz around in these old benz's do turn heads and get the looks and boy do wish we had an Autoban here cause these old benz's when running right and tuned right are fast right off the line with a massive top end. for all the State Troopers out there I have heard this about the top end; I wouldn't know from first hand experience..... Let's bid away and have fun doing it, make this a fun one..........
