1984 TOYOTA SUPRA Classic Muscle Car For Sale by ORIGINAL OWNER. I purchased this car from dealer in July of 1984. BUYER PAYS SHIPPING and/or TAXES (if applicable). There is no rust on the inside or outside. The original paint is glossy and highly polished. It has never been in an accident. But the hood was scratched by barbed wire after I was run off a country road -- no body or engine damage occurred but the hood was repainted with lacquer paint and over the years it has developed spiderweb cracks running through the paint. I have read that this is a common problem for cars painted 20 years ago with lacquer paint (Supra Pix-10). The rest of the car’s body and paint is in original factory condition with some minor dings. Under passenger side rear window, there is a series of dings from opening of other car doors. Air scoop over liftback has faded somewhat (Supra Pix-8). Rubber in front of headlights has deteriorated (Supra Pix-11) . Hatchback, doors, and hood open/close solid tight. Headlights/brake lights are fully functional. Two side mounted power rear view mirrors are functional -- passenger side has a chip out of the frame, and moves (Supra Pix-9). TIRES: 4 Dunlop G/T Qualifier P225-60R14 radial tires with good tread. The mag wheels are stock and are in excellent condition. Full Dunlop spare, factory jack/tire changing tools. The window hatchback sun shade is fully functional with no tears. GLASS: All clean, except for one nickel-size starburst located in the middle lower portion of the windshield. No spreading or line cracking over the many years it has been there. ENGINE: The engine is all stock. Exhaust and muffler is stock. Brand new battery. The car starts right up -- no noises or knocking -- this engine purrs. INTERIOR DETAILS: Gray cloth interior. All original and in very good condition for a car this age, with driver’s seat showing the most wear. Heater, speedometer, cruise control, power windows/door locks, power steering/brakes, tilt wheel, turn signals, front and rear defroster, tachometer, gauges, wiper blades (front and rear), clock and sunroof all functional. Problem with gas gauge in that it shows accurate levels below half of a tank, but will not show above that. Driver's seat bladder still works. AC is currently not working. Original Owner’s Manual. The Kenwood AM/FM stereo radio, with cassette tape player (not stock) has been disconnected. The factory antenna mast still works. It retracts when you turn on/off the stereo unit. The vehicle has a clear title, vehicle registration and current Texas Inspection sticker. PERSONAL NOTE: All and all, I really love this car, its great fun to drive and still gets admiring stares from passersby, and since it has always been kept inside a garage, it has helped preserve it. I hate to let it go, but I haven’t had a chance to drive it much in the past years, so it’s time to pass it on to a buyer interested in restoring this great classic car.
