Vehicle Detail

underoverunder store Description1955 FordF-100Up for sale is a 1955 Ford F-100 Hot-Rat-Street Rod.This F-100 is built with power and updates to make it a great cruiser.Such updates are things like a Granada front sub frame with disc brakes and Power steering. I will go into more detail in the following text. This truck will be sold at a far less price than what you could come close to building it for. This is priced to sell! The power plant is a recently rebuilt 1970 429 big block with D0VE Heads. I was told it was a Police Interceptor motor but have not pulled it away from the trans to check. It runs great oil pressure and never over heats. It has a Mild Performance cam and an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake with Carter Carb with electric choke and Dual exhaust with "cherry bomb" mufflers. It makes very good power and a great classic hot rod sound. For a little bit of dress up to it is has chrome Edelbrock valve covers, chrome GM one wire alternator and a chrome air cleaner with a K&N air filter element. The transmission is a C6 automatic with a shift kit. Shifting is done with a B&M floor mounted shifter. The Front clip has been changed out to a late model Ford Granada clip. Fully boxed and reinforced. Besides getting away from the original straight axle and getting an independent suspension it also has power steering and power disc brakes. Custom Corvette dual chamber master cylinder with power booster are mounted under the cab along the frame. Hooked up to the master cylinder are all new brake lines front to rear. The rear differential is a later model ford 9 inch with a possi-trac set up. Yes it works! It is a tilt front end as you can see from the pictures. Great for looks and if you need to work on it everything is very easy to get to. New cylinders have been installed so lifting and closing is very easy.Door handles have been shaved and power poppers have been installed to open the doors. All new wiring harness has been installed with new plastic fuse panel. So there will be no wire break downs. The interior has a custom 1962 Cadillac steering column that is not only a tilt but also a telescopic as well. The seats are out of a 1964 Thunderbird black leather(original covers still) and are still in great shape. The driver's side is a power seat! All new wood in the bed has been installed along with having the sides, front and tail gate getting a spray on bed liner treatment. As you can see it is bright red in color. Base clear paint so it will stay that way.Very shiny, and very pretty truck. It does draw attention. This is a West Coast Truck so it is not rusted out. It is in very solid condition. It has a new front windshield and new rubber seal. It also has a new rubber seal around the back glass.Door Glass has been started to be modified to do away with the vent windows. The glass is made of tinted lexan. Very little left to be done to finish them off. The wheels are Centerline solid spun aluminum alloy wheels with larger tires in the rear and smaller up front. This truck runs and drives out very well. We will be loading a short video on youtube so you can hear it and see it running and driving.Title is in hand.We hate to part with this classic F-100 but not enough time to go around.A Nonrefundable $1000.00 deposit is due with in 48 hours of sales end. Balance to be paid in full with in 7 days of sales end.Pay Pal can be used for the deposit, If you have to use pay pal to pay for the full amount contact us before the sale ends. Truck is sold as is no warranty. If you wish to come look at it before the sale ends please do so. We are not far from PDX air port.
