This is a great old truck. I bought it back in 1988 in New Mexico. It was originally owned by the Albuquerque water conservancy. The guy who drove it for them bought it from them after they retired it from service. I bought it from him. He told me he very seldom needed to put it in 4 wheel drive and that it had never been in the mud. I drove it daily for about 10 years and then garaged it. I never had it in the mud either! I lost my garage space about a year ago so it's been outside since then. It has a 318 motor, a new process transmission and transfer case. I had the transmission rebuilt in 2001 and the transfer case checked at the same time. Also had the drive shafts balanced and new u- joints installed then. The truck smokes a bit because it needs a carb rebuild. It needs new tires. The bed is off a 1971 dodge camper special and has a treated lumber floor. Comes with a tailgate but it needs some repair. Comes with new weather striping for the windows and doors. Comes with extra door. Comes with new rocker panels ready to weld in. Comes with complete shop manual on cd.
