1972 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE MALIBU CONVERTIBLE, FACTORY AC CAR – NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION Selling car for a friend, I have the title in my hand, car is titled in FL. Not a lot of Convertible Chevelle/Malibu’s were made in 1972. It is fairly rare to still find a convertible Chevelle that someone hasn’t already restored or that hasn't rusted away to nothing, or don’t have a title for it. This Chevelle is basically need ; I mean a lot of metal work! The rear quarter panels, trunk floor,The floor inside will all need to be replaced. I got a new/use trunk lip that goes with the car,thats rust free ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND EXHAUST: · 350 Motor · Powering Steering · Power Brakes TRANSMISSION: · No Transmission but I do have a 700R Trans for $350 extra REAR: · Factory 10 Bolt Rear EXTERIOR BODY: · BUMPERS – ok · WINDOWS – Windshield. All four (4) side window glasses are in good condition, but the track mechanisms may need some minor help. · PAINT - Well you see it needs paint after all new sheet metal · HEADLIGHTS – Drivers sided are intact. · BLINKERS - Blinkers are intact. · TIRES/WHEELS – Car is being sold with rollers. · HOOD – Regular hood, just needs to be scuff and painted. · DOORS – Doors open and close very easily with not much sag. · FLOOR BOARDS - Floors need to be replaced, from front to trunk. · GRILL – ok! · GAS TANK – Original gas tank. · CONVERTIBLE TOP – Needs new convertible top, of course. · CONVERTIBLE TOP FRAME ASSEMBLY – Convertible top frame assembly is currently attached to car. INTERIOR: · FRONT SEATS – Car has front buckets style seats that needs to be recovered. · REAR SEATS – Factory back seat that needs to be recovered. · DOOR PANELS – are missing. · CARPET – No carpet. · DASH PAD – Original dash pad that should probably be replaced when restored. · TRUNK – Trunk pan is needs to be replaced. OTHER MECHANICAL: · Factory Power drum brakes on front. · Factory drum brakes on rear. · Factory AC car. · Factory Power Top car. COMMENTS: · Clear title vehicle sold as-is.
