Thank you for stopping by this listing. I have a 1983 Chevy 1500 4x4 truck for sale. I have owned the truck for about 4 years and have done ALL the work to it or had a professional shop do the work. I have not ever had a chance to enjoy this truck due to non stop deploying...now its time for it to go. This truck started as a regular stock 83 1500 4x4. It had a deisle engine in the truck and I removed it and added the 400 small block block that is in it now. I then added the lift kit, axles, and wheels and tires. It has only had about 100 miles since all the upgrades. I planned on building this truck a little tougher and faster and have all the parts to do that and I will list them below as this is a package deal. It has 12 inch suspenion lift with a 3 inch body lift. It rides a little stiff but really not too bad. The truck currently has a 400 small block that runs good but carb needs a cleaning, it has a turbo 400 with an NP205 that shift good and work as should. I have a 383 stroker (400HP), a brand new Turbo 400 with 2500 stall converter that is rated for 1100HP and a NEW beefy NP205 that has been built up with all new parts and heavy duty parts THIS COMBO IS MATED PERFECTLY AND IS ALL BUILT TO STAND UP TO ANYTHING; BULLET PROOF!!!! The truck currently runs down the road with ease and is very stable considering the size, my wife drives it with ease. The steering is tight and strong, turn the 44's with 1 finger. The brakes stop the vehicle pretty well but only the front are hooked up. I have a complete rear disc brake set to throw on the 14 bolt rearend, this thing will stop on a dime then. Tires ride very well for size, I have a smaller set of 39 SX swampers and they ride terrible compared to these. All lights work great including all interior lights and trun signals, all gauges work, fuel, temp, oil pressure, amp EVEN THE LITTLE QUARTZ CLOCK. (this was a daily driver that everything worked and I modified the suspenion, very nice truck, not all hacked up or wire problems) The wipers, CD Player, power windows, power locks, all work great, not slow!! The only thing that does not work is the speedometer. The heater blower works great and heats and defrost the cab very nicely even the cigaret lighter works!! This was a A/C truck but it does not work anymore. There is some rust on the truck but overall it is very clean. It has spent its life in Cali and then I was staitioned in VA so I had to ship it over. This is not a PA truck it is a CALI truck and shows. It has just a few problem areas on the cab corners and rocker panels, pretty common for these truck and they make metal panels for cheap to fix these. The inner front fenders have some rust also but I have a brand new set of these that come with the truck and are simply bolt on. The frame is clean and there are a few spot of very light surface rust here and there but overall very clean. I captured all of the rust spots in the pictures so you are not surprised. The body is very solid and the ORIGINAL paint still shines very well, there is some early signs of oxidation some clear coat chipping on the hood and roof but still has shine to it. Again this has been a fun truck, but all I have been doing is upgrading it and never got a chance to play with it. It has NEVER been in the mud of offroad since I have owned it, and since it was stock when i got it I belive it has had a very easy life due to the condition and how tight everything is. when the truck is sold, it comes with all the extras that are listed below, once these additons are in place this will be an amazing truck with a super strong drivetrain; it is fine as is, but its stock components, I drove this truck all over southern Cali with the current set up, but the motor, tranny and transfercase that is not installed are the real deal!!!. Everything is built to handle extream abuse and for longevity, I cannot speak on the engine, tranny and transfercase that are in the truck beside they all work and are stock, but the additonal engine, tranny and transfer case have some of my serious cash invested. The engine was 3000, the tranny was 1500 and the transfercase was 1000 after all the upgrades. Interior Power windows, locks, tilt steering, hot heater with strong fan, all guages work except speedo Amp, fuel, oil press, temp. Wipers, rearsliding widow, CD palyer with 2 after market speakers sounds good in the cab, tint. NEW items to be installed- New door panels, lower kick panels, carpet kit, sun visors, dash cluster (speedo fix) weather stripping Exterior tool box, new ranch crome bumper on rear. NEW items to be installed- front chrom bumper Motor 400 Small block chevy, needs carb cleaning but runs good. no upgrades. TO be installed: 383 Stroker small block chevy, needs NOTHING complete turn key. 400HP / 440ft-lbs of torque. This engine was built by Northwest Engine exchnge you can contact them by phone at 888-349-3677 or 509-926-7731. There is a plate on the block with the serial number (N5676) tell them that number and they can verify the engine performance and internals. Complete turn key engine, EASY SWAP! Transmission Stock Turbo 400 automaatic shifts and runs great, but it is stock. To be installed; this is the badest Turbo 400 there is, this for a serious engine, custom build by a local tranny expert that has been offroad racing his entire life, you should see his toys!!. This thing will handle 1100 HP easy. UNBREAKABLE;; comes with a 2500rpm Stall converter. Transfercase stock NP205, works great. to be installed Heavy Duty NP205, all big gear parts and heavy duty barrings. This was built buy a serious off roader that spared nothing...the NP205 is already very strong stock, but this one has been built to the max. Front axle 1987 Chevy 1-ton Single rear wheel. COMPLETELY striped, hot tanked, the pumpkin was cut and turned there will be no steep angle of driveshaft on this truck, the yoke points right at the transfercase. 513 yukon gears, tru-track locker, 35 spline inner and outer chromoly shafts HD Warn locking 2 ton locking hubs. Steering PSC High Flow gear box, and remote resivore! Full Crossover steering with PSC Hydro assist. This truck turns on a dime and is effort less. Rear axle 1897 Chevy 14 bolt FF, 513 gears and detroit locker to be installed Rear Disc brake conversion kit, I have ALL required itmes to complete conversion except new brake lines. Tires 44x19.50x16.5 SuperSwamper boggers. Mounted on 16.5x12 Weld rims. These roll very well down road. I bought these used and there is a plug in one of them. The rear have about 40% left and fron have aout 60% left. LOTS of life left in these. Still have 2 inch deep lugs for mud. I do not know how they work offroad, the truck has only been on grass in my yard. Extras: Ceramic Coated competion top of the line HEADERS for the 383 Stoker (with all hard ware and warrenty Carpet Kit, visors, door panles, kick panels. Dash cluster Rear disc break conversion kit (everything except brake lines) 383 Stroker motor (turn key, came off a stand running, timing and everything was set. TRUE turn key. Starter, alternator, water pump EVERYTHING!! TH 400 Auto tranny Rated for BIG HORSE POWER NP 205 transfer case Rated for BIG HORSE POWER This truck is allot of fun and gets allot of attention, its a beast. Trucks of this model are getting harder to come by and their value continues to grow over the years. You would want to have this truck shipped to you if you are not local or trailered, I have NO doubts it would drive cross country but the time and money you spend in gas it would be much easier to transport this truck. I can load all the extras into the bed of the truck for easy transportation. That way it would come as a package for no extra money.
