1950 Chevy Firetruck, V-6. 4-speed manual transmission. I've converted from the original 6v to 12v for dependability-sake. I've also removed the water tank, and put deck boards down inside the bed. Air brakes work great and drive-out normal for an 'ol truck. This truck will need to be picked up or call and I can arrange delivery. All driving mechanics work fine and can be test-driven anytime. I bought from KY in 2007, and that is about all I know on her history. I have no idea what the fire pumps and assorted valving is like and did not want to wreck something trying to play with it. Fits in a standard garage fine at 24' w/o light. This truck is definitely a conversational piece and be prepared, it takes an average of 30 mins just to get gas...folks come out of the woodwork requesting pics and to touch or hit the siren. If you're looking for a parade truck, a truck to advertise in front of a business, or a party truck, this one has potential. If you like fire engine red, enjoy old trucks w/ heart, then this one's for you. She's been used for advertising and she's been a lot of fun. A toy every tinkerer should have at least once to play around with. The buyer will arrange for the pickup and delivery after purchase.
