I have for sale a 1965 Buick Skylark 4 door sedan in good original condition, with a clean PA title. I have not done anything with this car mechanically and it is currently not running, and mechanical condition is not known. Previous owner said the engine was a 310 V8 Wildcat Nailhead engine--I am not knowledgeable with these engines and do not know myself. The story behind the car is an older woman had it. She backed into something with it. The body shop repaired the car. She got the car back and again backed into something. It was repaired at the body shop a second time. At this point, the family did not want her driving the car, so it sat at the body shop for many years. The car is complete and original, except for a missing carb., air cleaner, fuel pump, and some side trim (that I know of). The mechanical condition of the car is unknown; I can turn the crankshaft with a wrench. However, with the fuel pump missing, there is an opening into the block. I don't know if something could have gotten in that opening. The miles of 21,500 are original. The dash is nearly perfect, steering wheel has some minor cracks, and seat upholstery has some separation (more due to age than wear). Original carpeting is not worn and door hinges are tight like new. Interior is much like new. Under the hood area looks excellent. Inner fenders and frame look to have only some light surface rust. Engine options such as A/C, look completely factory and untouched. Underbody of the car looks to be in excellent condition--no rust to speak of that I can see. Obviously, the outside of the car needs paint. There is some rust at the back end of the car. The panel between the back window and the trunk lid is rusted, trunk lid has some rust and panel above rear bumper is also rusty. There is also some rust at the quarter panels where the trunk lid closes against the quarter. Basically, the rust is from the back window to the rear of the car, but is not substantially rusty in the trunk or frame areas. This would be an excellent car to restore or possibly use this as a donor car to repair a more valuable car. If minimum bid is not met, and there is a lot of interest in parts, I may consider parting the car out. Buyers are urged to inspect car at seller's location, before bidding.
