OK, here we have an outstanding example of the BMW 850i Sports Coupe with the smooth and powerful v-12 engine. Truthfully, if you are looking at this auction, you probably know more than I do about this car! I loved them when they were introduced, but at $95,000 dollars they were WAY out of my price range!! There is just something about the 2-door with the pop up headlights and powerful stance the car has!!! Many cars that are 18 years old don't hold up, style wise, but these do. I JUST DROVE THIS CAR TO LAS VEGAS, AND IT WAS SMOOTH AS SILK...GOT IT UP TO ABOUT 130 BEFORE MY WIFE NOTICED AND YELLED AT ME. THIS CAR IS SOLID AS A ROCK. CONDITION: If I bought a car this good that was 5 years old, I would be happy...but 18 years?? Its AMAZING! The exterior has the original paint and it is still very shiny and flawless. There is some clearcoat coming off the front Bumper cover, which is common, and luckily with the Silver car is harder to notice. There is also some surface rust at the leading edge of the Sunroof, no rust color just some slight bubbling in a couple of places. I can find ZERO surface dings, not on the doors, nothing. There is a few spots of curb damage on the rims, like 2 of them, but very slight and I have seen way worse. The interior is almost perfect, all of the leather seating is immaculate except for a rub spot on the Drivers bolster, which is also common on this car. The headliner, while looking fine, is bubbling in the back...needs to be re-fastened. All electrical components work great, no issues at all, A/C is super cold and I have never added freon. UPDATE: I just hand washed the car and found ONE door ding, very slight with no paint loss, on the passenger door. Hard to see, but wanted to mention that. Also found a spot by the rear wheel opening, also on the passenger side, that looks like a chip was touched up with silver paint. Again, very minor but I wanted to mention it. ACCESSORIES: While this car is pretty much bone stock, somebody added M-Sport 18" wheels which are FAR better looking than stock! The Falken tires were installed 1 year ago and have five thousand miles on them or so, still look new. The guy I bought it from added the V-12 emblems on the trunk lid and front fenders...looks kinda cool, but can easily be removed if wanted. STATUS: This car is fully driveable to anywhere on the planet, period. The registration is paid until September...I have the car un-insured currently and was in my garage 24/7 until a month ago when I converted my garage to a Guitar showroom (still on-going project!) and it has been in my driveway. Last summer this car was overheating slightly, I took it to my local BMW dealer and a new Water Pump was installed, and it now runs cool with no problems. BMW ran a diagnostic on it, and found it to be strong throughout. SHIPPING: I have only sold ONE car on Ebay, many years ago, and the buyer arranged a car transport to pick up the car at my house...I drove it on the ramp and they took it away. So, this is easy. I am also more than willing, for no additional charge, to drive this to Los Angeles are (about 60 miles) to drop off at a car shipper place. You can fly in and I can pick you up at the airport and we can change the title at AAA and you can drive it home - basically whatever works for you I will help with, OK? PAYMENT: I would like a deposit paid within 24 hours of $1,000.00 through Paypal, and the remainder can be paid in cash on pickup, Bank transfer, or whatever works - even the balance on Paypal if you want...I wont sweat the 3% fees. NOTICE: I have this car listed locally in 2 places, so if you are watching it and it is all of a sudden gone - I sold it. I will NOT sell it if there are 2 or more bids on the car.
