I'm taking the risk of possbily an even greater loss and lowering the starting bid to get her moving. Here we go again- I just love ebay. I listed and sold this about 6 weeks ago and the winner strung me along and never paid so ebay refunded my money and its for sale again. I am selling my 1970 Boss 302. This is the real deal a dream car for me and a piece of history. Please bid only if you have the funds to pay for it and a way to transport it already set up. I'm not selling it because I want to, so please only serious bidders. Buck tag is there, apron vin stamp, and the vin plate of still on the dash. This is a project car that needs a full resto. What makes it even rarer is the fact that it was basically a no option street racer - built for spead and not a lot of flash(if you like the add-on's you can do that easy enough). I attached a copy of the marti report so if you don't see an option on that sheet it doesn't have it on the car. The winner will have the opportunity to register this car in the BOSS Registry. The car was a 302 four speed car but please note that it currently has a standard fastback drivetrain so all of the bolt on BOSS parts are gone except I do have a 4speed toploader thats included tagged RUG-AV for Boss 4spd. The 4spd pedals are still there. It has the correct 9inch rear axle housing in the car but you would have to add the 31spline axles and N case center section which are available at a number of dealers to make it factory correct. The car includes the front seats, the rear seat, and the rear interior panels- for the most parts its a complete interior and is now packed in the car. The car was hit many years ago in the drivers side door jamb area so as you can see in the pictures the frame rail /jamb s dented. Its rusted but I've fixed worse and the front end is pretty solid- the boss shock tower reinforcements are there and not rusted out. I would swap out the hood, doors (one better one is included), and trunk because of rust. All four panels have the rolled wheel lips!!! I am including a pair of 69 fenders so you can use them to patch the lower corners of the originals. The original boss shock tower reinforcements are in place as is the staggered shock support in the trunk as shown. Also included new front windshield chrome set and a few other parts. Deposit of $200 due with 48 hours of auction close and full payment within 7 days. Pick-up required two weeks after auction close. I am selling the car with a Maine Vehicle Registration - no title, and a bill of sale. Bidders with less then 5 feedback or less then 98% positive feedback will be remove from bidding. I reserve the right to sell it locally and cancel bids. NO RESERVE- Bid to Own I have been asked if the motor is a 302- no, it looks like a 351. I can't be sure what the engine is from but I would expect its not of much value. Also, I have a few people in New England who I was in contact with over the last 6 months to buy their original Boss 302's engines or parts to build one up. Since I decided to sell the car I will be happy to share these leads with the winning bidder after payment so you can contact them if you want to go the stock route.
