Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is Ava the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight. Named after the move actress, she is my pride and joy. Unfortunately, I got accepted to a college where I cannot have a car for all four years, and I have nowhere suitable to store a car like this properly for long-term. Faced with the difficult decision, I'd rather sell the car than let it sit around for four years and go to pasture. So, here's the details: I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, but the car is all original (except new Edelbrock carb and dual exhausts which sound great) and runs great. It's been my everyday driver for a year, except in the winter. With only 45,000 miles, this car was well maintained and never driven in the salt or slush. I challenge you to find a more original and rust-free car than this on the Eastern seaboard. If I didn't know better, I'd say this is a Cali or Arizona car! My mechanic was inspecting the car on lifts once so he got a real good look, and the first thing he remarked on was how spotless the botom of the car was. As you can see, even little nooks like inside the fender skirts are clean as a whistle. The 394 engine has LOTS of torque and runs like a scalded cat, even for such a big car. It takes in-town driving well and loves long highway trips too. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this baby anywhere. The interior is in good condition, but the front seat had some runs so I installed a custom red vinyl seat cover over it which goes VERY well with the interior. Headliner and dash are excellent, and back seat is in great untouched condition. The power windows and power seats work. It has the original transmission that was rebuilt by the previous owner. The trans has never given me any problems, and hasn't leaked a drop of fluid. The tires are in new/like new condition. The suspension is fine, and the brakes have new booster, new master cylinder, and new brake lines. The late fifties and early sixties were the pinnacle of styling in American autos. You can tell just by looking at this one! The black paint, red interior, chrome, and two-door hardtop styling make a VERY attractive car. It gets lots of interest at car shows and everywhere. Oldsmobile was always a nice car, and the 98 was top-of-the-line. So if you like nice, classic, American Iron, don't miss out on this opportunity. you won't be disappointed. My loss is your gain. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if neccesary. No scammers, tire-kickers, or non-commiters. I have dealt with them before. If you aren't a serious bidder with the positive feedback to show it, please don't waste my time. If you have any questions, don't hesitate, I will answer them as quickly as possible.
