A doctor in Memphis TN bought this car new in 1979 and drove it for about 1 year then sold it to my sister who owned it for about 10 years. I bought it from her in roughly 1991/1992 and drove it for about 3 years until the day I bought a new car at which time I pulled the ZX in to my garage and parked it. It has been sitting there since. In 2004 I had a new fuel pump put on it and drove it around for a day and then returned it to the garage where it still sits. It doesn't crank right now but I'm sure that one day with a mechanic and it would be running. The car never gave me or my sister any mechanical trouble. It was never wrecked that we know of as neither of us ever had it in a body shop for any work whatsoever. The tires are old but have very very low milage. The car is rust free. It has never been parked outdoors since I quit driving it years ago. This car is a perfect car to restore. Solid.
