Here's a car that nearly everyone likes! Though they were not spectacular performers in their original 6-cylinder configuration the Chevrolets of 1949 to 1952 were extremely attractive cars with clean, pleasing lines that featured pontoon-style rear fenders and a two-piece curved windshield. Now they make fantastic street rods or cruisers. This is the KK series "Special" Sport Coupe that had less chrome than the "Styleline Deluxe" Sport Coupe with neither to be mistaken for the two-door Sedan which has a longer cab. All body styles were based on a 115" wheelbase. It appears someone began the "hot rod" conversion on this little car at one time but ran out of money or knowledge or both! It has a Chevy 350 ci sitting between the fenders but is not hooked up. It has a 350 transmission and a 1956 Chevy rearend. The trunk floor is good but it needs floor pans. This is an excellent car to restore or build into that 'one of a kind' street rod. It comes with a clear Oklahoma title. The owner has extra fenders and doors but is not sure if the extra doors are coupe or sedan. Either way the fenders, doors and other extra parts come with the car.
