This car made us fall in love with convertibles and we are selling it because we recently purchased a newer Miata. Replaced Parts: * Canvas Top (It came with the usual black top, but my wife wanted something unique so we went with the tan. We like the new look it gave the car) * Fuel Pump (While this can be a common part to go out we also had the fuel tank cleaned and coated in a rust proof covering. We changed the fuel filters) * Tie Rods (A mechanic said they where worn so we replaced them and had realignment done) * Exhaust (New from header back) * Stereo (My wife "needed" a CD player so we installed one that also took USB and SD MP3's) * Engine (The motor came from www.my4n.com "John's Imports" It is a newer -they still build & use this motor in Japan- used motor with around 40K miles. It installed fine and we have put a couple thousand miles on it since the change) * Tires & brakes * Battery Needs: *A/C (This car has a/c and it does work when manually started. The problem seems to be in the switch. This repair has been low on our list since we always drove with the top down!) * Body Work (Over all the body is in excellent condition as the pictures show. There is some rust -as is common- on the rockers and I showed this in pictures. This was the last step for the car and we just never made it... the car looks great now, but with a new paint job it would really shine) After deciding to sell the car we took it in to the mechanic for smoke issues after replacing a small part he said the car runs great and didn't see any changes we needed to make before selling.
