1986 GMC diesel suburban 6.2 not 5.7. this truck is my daily driver. it gets 26-28 mpg on bio diesel. it drives great and has a 40 gal tank, so long range. the windshild is broken the ac does not work it is all there but the pump does not work i was told it must have a leak, no pressure no clutch engagement,and the radio is not working. it has new tires, steering pump, optima batteries and a used steering column,(thats why no cruise, no button). I was going to rework this truck but will be buying a new one. The truck is from texas and the registration stickers are on the windshild. The only rust is in the pictures, under the tape and rear door where the 6.2 emblem was. check the report available on ebay this is a good truck not a wreck. This truck was one of a few we tested with bio diesel, there are no mods for bio diesel so the truck is stock. We did not put vegie oil in the tank or try weird mixes just ATSM tested bio diesel. if i were to keep this truck and fix it up it is a great starting point. I would replace the windshild, the radio, and check the shocks and breaks, Then i would put in a block heater as this truck was from texas it does not have one. then i would start on the cosmedics. I would replace all interior parts(carpet door panels and head liner) and then down to maco for paint. the truck would be new again. but as it is i want a new super duty F350. So here is youre chance blue book is 1700-1800. but low miles and solid bodies are hard to find good luck!
