1973 DATSUN 240Z - LOW MILES -SUPER SHARP. This is a 1973 Datsun that has been in my collection since 1980.I am a former Datsun dealer who sold the car new in 1973 and traded back for it in 1980.I stored the car and in 1984 decided to have a restoration done to the car.This included the following new parts and repair work:both front fenders,hood,both rear quarter panels,both rocker panels,front floor pan repair,a complete refinish of paint done in the original code 904 white,windshield replacement,both front and rear complete bumpers, door seals,both front seat trims lower and back,all 4 marker lamps,electric antenna,added front and rear spoilers,4 new springs and struts,complete brake job front and rear including brake cables,both rear axle ujoints,American Racing alloy wheels,Bridgestone tires,both door window regulators and rear gate struts.Engine work included: rings,bearings,timing chain,water pump, gaskets and seals,alternator rebuild,carb rebuild,updated V3 recall including electric fuel pump,complete tuneup including filters,plugs,points and condensors,complete clutch replacement including master and slave cylinders.The car has been driven just over 10,000 miles since 1980.The restoration work has held up very well.The paint and finish still has a nice shine.The car runs and drives fine.As the pictures show,the left hand lower seat trim has a small tear on the outside edge and the paint has a few rock chips.The dash pad is cracked in the center.The front carpets are original and do show some wear.Overall, this is still a very nice 1973 Datsun 240Z. The car is being sold with a Bill of Sale from the owner.Maine does not require a title on cars older than 15 years so none exists.The car is being sold as is with no warranty or guarantee.A Paypal deposit of $1500.00 is required within 48 hours of auction close.The balance due in full within 5 days of auction close with cash or certified bank check.I will help with transportation arrangements and storage until pickup.All transportation costs are the full responsibility of the buyer.All sales are final and no returns or refunds will be considered.
