RARE FIND! RIGHT-HAND DRIVE TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO EX This may be the ONLY Land Cruiser Prado in the United States! Clear, South Carolina Title in-hand. This Prado is approximately 85% restored; mechanically and structurally sound. I am still using it as a daily driver, so mileage may be slightly higher at time of purchase. Right-Hand Drive, speedometer, odometer, and thermometer all read in metric units. This vehicle has the 2L-TE engine with 3L head; total displacement: 2.8 liters with Turbo. There is a full display Kenwood DNX8120 GPS that displays in mph/miles. This vehicle was my wife's until we had a baby, now I have no time to finish restoring/driving this awesome Land Cruiser. The Prado is essentially an "old-school" luxury SUV comparable to the Lexus LX. It has the following features: *Electronic Suspension *Power Sun Roof *Power Windows *Power Door Locks *Power Brakes *Four Wheel Drive with automatic locking hubs *Four Wheel Disc Brakes *Hands-free Bluetooth calling; all you need is a Bluetooth capable phone *Kenwood Excelon DNX8120 NAVI: Sirius Satellite Radio tuner installed, iPod wire to glove box installed, DVD player can play on Front Screen and Rear Screen simultaneously, or independently *NESA flip down DVD player with iPod port can be played independently of Kenwood with NESA Bluetooth headphones. *Seats 8 people, all seats recline comfortably *FET Turbo Timer Installed *Fog Light pre-wire and switch installed *Interior/Exterior thermometer (Celcius), with altimeter *Tow pin and jaw type Trailer Hitch *Windows tinted (legal tint percentage in South Carolina) THE BAD: -superficial-moderate rust on windshield wiper arms, and mudflaps, and one spot on right-rear access door -small hole in left-front passenger seat -windshield has hairline crack at lower-right corner -left-rear window motor does not function (window is in "up" position) -right-front and rear window/door weather strip loose (have new insert for both, though they require painting them black to match) -spare tire rim paint is peeling slightly; some superficial rust -light paint chips, scratches (better than you might expect for an 18 year old vehicle) -rear wheel cosmetic center-caps missing THE GOOD: -Timing Belt, Water Pump, Thermostat, all "V"-Belts, Hoses, and Fuel Pump Seals changed at 90,545miles (145,719km) by Superior Diesel, North Charleston, SC. -New AC Delco 875cca Battery installed at 94,178miles (151,565km). -Regular oil changes with AMSOIL full synthetic 15w40 -New Rotors installed, with new Brake Pads, brakes bled, and filled with AMSOIL full synthetic brake fluid at 89,578miles (144,163km). -Installed new K&N washable Air Filter at 89,399miles (143,875km). -New Cooper Discoverer ATR tires installed on all wheels, including spare at 85,351miles (137,360km). -Differentials gear oil changed to Royal Purple full synthetic 75w140 at 77,356miles (124,493km). -4 new Toyota OEM Electronic Shocks come with purchase, along with a couple extra Toyota OEM Fuel Filters. -Reliable daily driver gets approximately 18mpg city, up to 25mpg highway. -AC blows COLD, Heat blows HOT. My apologies for assuming that this might be the only Prado around. Thanks to all of the other owners out there for setting me straight.On Jul-18-10 at 21:09:58 PDT, seller added the following information: The maintenance record that I have from the 3L Head re-build shows 2.8 liters displacement. The actual displacement may only be 2.4 liters according to one of the Toyota Diesel guys watching this listing. The un-modified 2L-TE engine is 2.4 liters. I have requested quotes for parts to fix most of "The Bad" issues listed; I still have not received them. I will pass on any and all parts resource information to the winning bidder.
