For sale is my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS 5 speed convertible. I have owned this car for the past 5 years. It was previously a one owner car. The car has been tastefully modified by me. It was non-turbo from the factory but I turboed it myself using all quality parts. It is a reliable, daily driven, fun to drive, head turning vehicle, and I have enjoyed owning it. Other things have become more important at this point in my life so I have decided to part ways with it. The car is in good overall condition. It has been well maintained. The interior was reupholstered at one point in time. It is dark leather with red stitching. The seats all look brand new, but the driver's seat is just starting to show typical wear. The rest of the interior is black (a real rarity on these vehicles). The paint is shiny and in good condition for the age of the vehicle. The body is free of any substantial dents or scratches. Any blemishes on the car are minute and would fail to show up in pictures. The original black top is in very good condition. I just replaced the weatherstripping where the top meets the windshield frame (a $300 repair). It does leak a little if parked in a severe rain, a problem very typical of this model car. The top needs a little adjustment. The car is mechanically sound. It runs well, and reliably. The car has no Check Engine Lights and easily passes a North Carolina Inspection. I just recently had the car inspected last week. Alot of parts have been replaced in lieu of performance. Any worn stock parts have also been replaced. I just installed a full 3 inch turbo back, mandrel bent, stainless exhaust a few months ago. The car is a blast to drive. I built it to be a comfortable, streetable car, with good power, superb handling, and looks to match. And thats exactly what the car is. Although some of the pictures show the car with aftermarket wheels, the car will only come with factory GST wheels painted jet black.
