I bought this car from a wrecker storage pen. it was a tow away from an apartment complex. the car tags and inspection sticker on the car were dead so i knew it had been sitting but the car looked like it had been cared for through the years so i had keys made for it to see if it would run. immediately upon putting jumper cables on it and hitting the key it fired right up! but it wouldnt go into any gears but the shifter didnt feel like it was doing anything so we got under the car and put it in gear and it drove so we checked it out and it was the cable from the shifter to the trans. we replaced it with a new one from bmw. we pulled the battery off and charged it up. since we put it back on it has held its charge. the car now starts right up and runs very good. the motor has plenty of power. ive never driven an old 535 and i was very surprised with the power that it has. i cant imagine the transmission ever shifting any better than it does now. the car drives down the road good. the tires have plenty tread on them and were probably new when the car was parked but are dry cracked so i wouldnt head out on a road trip on them. the car is pretty darn straight with the exception of the few dings here and there. the paint is still presentable but does have some spots where it is showing its age. i took close up pictures of all defects i noticed. the interior is in pretty good shape for its age. seats are still very good. the dash has several cracks. the power windows all work. none of the buttons for the power seats work which lead me to believe its a fuse or breaker. this car came out of a wrecker storage pen. it was towed away from an apartment complex because it hadnt been moved since 2006. the towing company can get a clean texas title for the car but if you want a title there will be an additional $200 charge over what the final bid. it is located at 1602 s. market hearne texas 77859 and is available for inspection. we are a small and i do mean small town dealer that sells worldwide. we have shipped to 38 states and several foreign countries. we do our best to accurately describe our vehicles and more often than not our buyers say our vehicles are better than they expected. we are dealers but we arent salesman, we tell it exactly how we see it without any sugar coating which im sure costs us some sales but we end up with happier customers. we know how it is to travel long distance to buy something not described accurately and try our absolute best for that to not happen to our customers. but even though we do our best to describe our vehicles we know that everyone looks at vehicles differently so we take the best photos we can and a bunch of them and include more of the negatives than the positives in our photos. on top of this our policy is that if for any reason whatsoever one of our buyers isnt 100% happy with their purchase we release them from the transaction without any questions or hassle! we prefer our buyers to not even pay until they have personally seen, driven and inspected the vehicle to make absolute certain it is the vehicle for them. because we handle vehicles from brand new condition all the way down to a junker we deal with buyers that have a varied ideas of vehicle condition and we strive for our buyers to be 100% satisfied.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.--> On Jun-09-10 at 12:20:15 PDT, seller added the following information: the miles listed in the auction are for what is showing on the odometer but there was another cluster in the rear floorboard of the car. after looking at the vehicle history report i would say that the one in the floorboard is the factory one because it has the exact miles that were last reported. so there is no way of knowing what the actual miles on the car are.
