Up for sale is a cool 1964 Cali style VW Convertible to be sold with NO RESERVE!!!! Super reliable car that starts up everytime and will never leave you stranded. The engine is a rebuilt 1600cc dual port that runs very strong with dual downdraft carbs, doesnt leak a drip of oil. It has 14,000 miles on a rebuilt engine, clutch and what I was told is a freeway flyer transmission that ables you to cruise on the freeway 70-80 mph with no issues. The shifter goes into all gears with ease unlike most vw's. All the electrical works, turn signals, wipers, brake lights, headlights, high beams. The interior is fine with no rips or tears, nice door panels, the back seat has no springs in it, the top is good with no rips or tears but the back window looks funky and should be redone or its fine as is. The passenger rear quarter window needs to be reinstalled, the passenger door window needs a new handle to go up and down. The front clip has been replaced at one time and maybe the back one too. The front quarter windows are plexiglass. The car has a lowered front beam. No E-brake. The pan looks to be rust free, the frame rails have been reinforced with metal. The passenger door needs to be adjusted so it hits the striker when shutting it. The rear wheels are nice with newer tires, the fronts are stock with nice newer tires as well. It has euro tail lights along with euro fog lights up front that need to be hooked up or leave as is. This is not a show car by any means, this is a very fun rat rod driver/ beater. All in all this is a very dependable awesome looking old school vw convertible driver that you can hop in and drive anywhere. Perfect summer car to cruise with the top down and have fun with.
