Vehicle Detail

This is a rare vintage bike in mostly orginal condition. It even still has it's steel basket style air cleaner in the frame tube under the seat and helmet hook on the top of the left fork tube. This is a clean 1967 CL125 with no color fade on the original red/metallic paint on the frame or rust and is ready for a new owner to ride this summer!! The seat was recovered some time back and has the pipping on the edge. Original grips, foot peg rubbers, kick start and shifter rubbers are very nice shape also. Front tire has good tread and very little cracking, the rear tire and tube are brand. It also has a good battery. Starts first or second kick cold with a little choke, one kick warm, and runs perfectly. There is no noise from the trans and the clutch works as it should also. I have had this bike for some time and it has always been kept inside a climate controlled game room with a few other bikes so the chrome is very nice orginal condition There are a few minor waves/dings in the chrome and paint, to be expected from a 43 year old bike but they don't detract from the overall great condition or correct look/age of the bike. All the lights, including the speedo, dash lights, horn, work perfectly. Brakes work very well and she steers perfectly straight. The the brake light switch works as do the and high/low beams! The original exhaust is in very nice condition/chrome with almost no blue on the pipes near the motor. I ride this bike to local car and bike shows in nice weather up to 20 miles each way from time to time and just had it out last Saturday for a run. I won a trophy with her last weekend. Pictures show her pretty well, I tried to load a short movie clip of it running but it would not load (e-bay), I will forward it to any interested bidders. If your looking for a nice showable running/ridable bike you can be proud to own then here it is!! Making room for another bike in my collection, otherwise she stays in place as I am quite happy with this one. Thx, and good luck bidding, please feel free to ask any questions and come see the bike in person. I will provide a bill of sale and co-ordinate a pick up with your shipper or you once full payment clears or is made. Sorry no trades and the CA. plate/reg. tube will not come with the bike. On Jun-24-10 at 17:46:54 PDT, seller added the following information:Thank you all for your interest, yes those are the stock 125 emblem on the tank not repro's and they are pretty nice/clear factory ones for 40+. The chain gaurd is the correct one. Plugs are new oil was changed this spring (40 mile since tune and servicing). On Jun-28-10 at 13:17:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Group answers to several questions: New chain, good condition original chain adjusters are in place. Motor covers are clean and show normal light wear, both the shifter and the kick starter have the original rubbers on them. Two keys, with new ignition switch, old one fell apart. Glass on the speedo is crystal clear, handle bar switches and levers original and very nice.
