/1989FOR SALE 1989 JEEP WRANGLER YJ-PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE AD First of all this has a score of 4 on the carfax report because it has had 9 owners and ONE NON COLLISION accident. 9 owners for a 21 year old JEEP is great...lol its usually a second vehicle, and only one non collision accident is even better. The title is clear and it has not had any theft or special use to itt. It is a hunter green jeep wranglerYJ. I am an honest ebayer and I paid $6500 for this jeep. It wouldn't start after three weeks so I had a mobile mechanic come and he put in a new valve cover, new gaskets, and a new thermostat as he said that's what it needed. It worked fine for about a week.... now it won't start. So anyways here I sit without a working vehicle as a single girl and Ive had to find a way to work. I CANNOT afford this Jeep anymore, everyone had told me with a jeep it's a "love/hate relationship"...well I've learned that quickly. The jeep is a 6 cylinder, 159,000 original miles however the person I bought it from told me it was rebuilt 15,000 miles ago....however the mobile mechanic told me it was a 2001-2003 6 cyl engine. Its a YJ 1989 which I was told was a great year because it is galvanized which means it won't rust. It has a new paint job, 35 inch military tires with factory 16 inch JEEP wheels, an 8 inch lift, a removable face plate cd/am/fm player, chrome side step tubular bars, padded roll bars, a black hard top in great condition with tinted windows, full steel doors with glass windows, and custom tail lights. The cons I know are this: there is dry rot in the two rear tires, but still plenty of tread, sometimes the radio crackles (I don't know why) and at this point I don't know why it won't start. It turns over and sounds like a "chuga chuga chuga" but never quite makes it....I don't think it's the battery because my friend tried to jump start and that didn't work and I added 2 gallons of gas just in case because it was low on the gas gauge. Anyways I paid $6500 and I need to get the cash out of this, I just need reliable transportation to get to and from work at this point. This is a great opportunity for anyone that knows mechanics or jeeps. This is a no reserve auction so highest bidder takes it.
