Vehicle Detail
For sale – a beautiful well maintained full dress Honda VTX-1300. This motorcycle has been lovingly maintained, and I have all the maintenance records for the winning bidder. Below is a list of most the major additions to the motorcycle – additions that alone are probably valued at $3000 to $4000. This bike has had the oil and final drive fluid changed every 3000 or less miles, and only Honda HP4 or Amsoil Synthetic Oil and final drive fluid has been used. I have had the bike tuned up every spring including adjusting the valves (except for this spring as I can’t ride well anymore). The bike has been garaged its entire life, I am the original owner, and it has never been wrecked or dropped. Here is a list of most the modifications to the motorcycle: Honda HP4 Synthetic or Amsoil Synthetic Progressive front Fork Springs K&N Lifetime Air Filter Ultimate X Leather Low Ride Seat and Backrest w/Pouch Locking Leatherlyke hard side saddlebags with quick disconnect system Kuryakyn ISO Grips with Cruise Control Kuryakyn Low Profile Mirrors Whitewall Tires 2-Wheel Tunes Amplified Sound System Zumo 550 Garmin Motorcycle GPS/MP3 Player/Bluetooth with electric compass and speedometer Leather Tool Pouch and Bra with pocket Engine Guard with leather covers for winter riding and outrider footrests Honda Light bar with Blue Dot Lights Chrome Light Visor Chrome TrippleTree Cover Custom Footrests Memphis Shades Windshield VTX Custom Locking Gas Cap Chromed Oil Dip Stick Chrome cargo rack Chrome Front Fender Guard Leather Tri-Pocket Windshield Pouched Custom (VERY LOUD) Air horn 3“ Handlebar pull back extensions (Makes for a much more comfortable ride.) LA Chock ($350 dollar value) A new battery was installed this year, and a trickle charger with installed dedicated hookup on the motorcycle are included. The bike is also equipped with a Garmin Zumo 550 Motorcycle GPS/MP3 Player/Bluetooth with electric compass and speedometer. (Plays music from a secure digital card through the 2 Wheels Tunes System.) This item alone is valued at between $800 and $1000, depending on where it purchased. If you buy the bike for the full asking price an LA Chock and the Zumo 550 will be included in the sale. Also, if you buy the bike for the full “buy it now” price I will include all the spare parts, bolts, filters, Amsoil Oil, brake pads, and a nice ¾ helmet that I have on hand. So, here’s the money part. Winning bidder must pay a non-refundable $500 deposit via PayPal within 72 hours of winning the bid. The remainder is payable upon accepting the bike in cash. (Cash only folks – no money orders, cashier’s checks or credit cards.) Winning bidder is responsible for all arrangements and costs for pick-up from my residence in Atlanta. The bike must be pick-up within 14 days of close of auction or bidder forfeits the security deposit. (Hey – I’m not stupid – stuff happens – if you win the bid and are delayed picking it up just call me at the number I will supply – the motorcycle will stay happily dry and cool in the garage and it’s not going anywhere.) Refusal of sale will be for misrepresentation in auction only. (If you don’t like the Orange paint then you might not want to bid.) Upon acceptance of bike and payment in full I will sign the Title over to the winning bidder. Here’s a chance to get a beautiful decked out motorcycle in great shape for half what you would pay at the dealer for the bike and parts. If you have any questions you can contact me at either rharbick@earthlink.net or rbharbic@dekalbcountyga.gov. Thanks for looking at the auction and happy bidding. PS: Several people have emailed me asking "what's the minimum you'll take for the bike?". Or trying to get me to end the auction and sell it to them for the minimum amount. Hey folks, this is a beautiful bike that's been taken well care of. I hate to part with it but I need the money more than the bike right now. But this is an auction - not "rider's welfare". If you want the motorcycle then please - bid on it. I'm an honest seller and I will make sure the winner is happy with the purchase.
