1972-73 Mercedes Benz 280 SE 4.5 for sale! This is the last year of production of this fabulous body style! The engine runs strong without hesitation. The transmission shifts well. The cooling system is in good condition and works as it should. The brakes are in good condition, the car stops well. The tires are new and has the optional alloy wheels. The suspension is in good condition and has newer shocks. The power steering has a slow leak in one of the hoses. The front and rear suspension are in good condition, the car tracks great and runs down the road nicely. The interior is blue. The seats are in good condition, no rips or tears. The carpet is in good condition, to rips, tears or stains. The headliner is in great condition, no rips, tears or stains. The power locking on the doors are not all working, one of the vacuum hoses needs to be replaced. Have some original documentation, including the warranty book and the owners manual. All the gages work as they should. The top of the dash pad has some cracks. The original radio has been replaced with a more current radio/cd system. Air conditioning works, but could be colder. The windshield wipers don’t work, just need a new relay. All lights including, headlights and turn signals work. All four power windows work great. Top of one door panel has some cracking. The interior wood is in okay condition for a car of it’s age. The body color is white. The chrome, grille and front bumper are in good condition. The rear bumper has some surface rust, and there is some rust in the usual places on the body. All the stainless steel is on the car, nothing missing and is in okay condition. Front windshield has been replaced 5 years ago, all other windows in good condition. The car is located in Carmel, California.
