Spectacular 34,088 Mile Original & Un-restored “Survivor” Highly sought after beautiful “head-turning” classic muscle car that is an extremely well-maintained low-mileage original vehicle. The exterior paint, trim, mechanics and interior are in excellent condition. CRUISE IT, SHOW IT, OR STORE IT AS A GREAT INVESTMENT Here is the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am “Special Edition” Bandit you’ve been searching for! You are looking at one of the most original, low mileage Trans Am “Special Edition” bandits out there. This car is loaded with options with original build sheet and PHS certification. I’m only the third owner- the first owner was an elderly Californian widower who logged only 28,000 miles. I purchased this car in 2003 from a gentleman who had owned it for two years. He had purchased it from the original owner, the estate of an elderly widower in California who had kept her car in storage for upwards of twenty years. Passed California Emissions in 2002. This report and several other earlier service invoices include odometer readings. This car has been a California car for almost all its life and it sure shows. The undercarriage is near spotless as you would expect from a California car. The body is as well and rust free. The interior is like brand new. Dash is perfect as are the seats and headliner. This is a great classic muscle car to cruise and take to any car show and feel and be honored. Every aspect of this car has been documented - from its PHS certification to the original assembly build sheet and the original owner’s manual. I have enjoyed driving this great classic muscle car during the summer months on Sunday drives, car shows and in the ‘Woodward Dream Cruise’ where it received special recognition. In the winter the car is stored in a heated garage. This car has always been stored and has seen snow or been exposed to low temperatures. Also included is a locking premium car cover and an original 1977 “Hot Rod” magazine featuring the “Limited Edition 1977 Trans Am” where the car was evaluated as “the top performer in the 1977 Detroit line-up”. This original 1977 Pontiac Trans Am “Special Edition” runs and handles great and is one of the nicest around. The “Smokey & the Bandit” car is one of the all-time great movie muscle cars. There will always be restored or repainted cars, but, like this rare 1977 Pontiac Trans Am “Special Edition”, are original only once. Interior: · The original interior is absolutely beautiful. The seats and carpet have little wear or no stains · Impressive gold bezel dash, cockpit of gauges and original custom buckskin color interior all in great condition · Original AM/FM radio and 8-track player both work like new · Power steering, windows and locks all in peak condition · Seldom seen rear seat console makes this already very rare bird even rarer! You’ll be the talk of shows where enthusiasts know and will be envious of this very unique special order only rare option. (Original rear seat consoles alone have sold for over $1000.) Exterior: · The exterior paint has a nice luster with a deep glossy shine · The motor starts right up, original numbers-matching automatic transmission shifts smoothly, very solid suspension, no leaks and is great fun to drive · Original numbers-matching L80, 403 engine is in excellent condition-from the most well-engineered and reliable General Motors Engine Design/Development · This beauty shows minimal wear. Due to the original, low-mileage nature of this car, It has a few very minor nicks and stone chips and this car needs very little in terms of work or investment to become a show-room jewel Pictures speak louder than words, so please take a look!
