Up for sale is a 1988 Suzuki Samurai. This samurai was bought a few years ago as a very very clean rust free stock vehicle. Since that time, the following modifications have been made: 1.6 16 valve engine Spring over lift Stinger front bumper with 2" receiver hitch for winch Larger Tracker calipers and extended brake lines Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch 15x8" rockcrawler wheels 31x11.50 Super swamper LTB tires (All of the above items professionally installed by Sean DeVinney at Aftermarket Industries in VA beach - he specializes in the 1.6 16 valve swap). Inside is all herculined diamond plate rocker panels and rear corners Roll cage Hardtop cut and made removable Bikini top by Specialty Top Company Aquatronics waterproof boat radio/cd player and speakers new 2" exhaust new starter recent complete tune up This is a very well maintained, rust free, and extremely versatile samurai. The 1.6 16 valve engine starts right up immediately and runs VERY strong (huge difference from the 1.3). 4WD works great, however, as far as I know, this samurai has NEVER been offroaded!! The hardtop was cut in a way that it can be driven with it on or off. It goes on and off very easily and is held on by several turnbuckle type latches. However, if you plan to keep the top on over the winter, you will want some additional weather sealing and you will need to reinstall the post for the rear door to latch on. There is a special rear tailgate included that was made to be used with the top is off - and it has a mount for a jerrycan. The samurai is also wired for KC lights. The windshield does have a crack in it, but I just had it inspected last week and it passed with flying colors, so the crack must not be a problem. The odometer reads 51,481 - and the title reads 91,250 - but the title also says incorrect mileage - so exact miles on body are unknown (it definitely does not have 91,250 + 51,481) - however, that is irrelevant, as the body is clean as a whistle and the engine is from a different vehicle anyways. The samurai is located in Cumberland county Virginia. It has a brand new state inspection, so if you bring some plates you can drive it home - or, you can tow it or have it towed if you like. Payment required within 10 days from the end of the auction - cash or money order accepted. The vehicle will be listed as local pickup only, however, if you wish to have it shipped, you must arrange the shipping. As this is a used and modified vehicle, it has absolutely no warranty and is strictly being sold as is. Also, this is a lifted samurai, so be aware of the ride characteristics of this vehicle.
