This vehicle is a Detroit Built 1956 Chrysler Windsor V-8, 4 door six passenger sedan. This vehicle is powered by a 331 cubic inch motor listed at 225 brake HP. It is equipped with the push button 2 speed Powerflite automatic transmission. Tires: Dunlap Gold Seal “78” – 4 ply poly L78-15. Very good condition w/ spare Vehicle also comes with the OWNER’S MANUAL !! (see photos) This vehicle is as close coming off showroom floor as it gets. This is a VERY original car. Load up a car load and head off to the car show to claim your trophy! Paint and chrome is still in original lustrous condition. The “100 Million Dollar Look” was carried forward with a tasteful face lift centered around grille changes and integrated tail lamps. The two-piece grille of 1955 was redesigned with a look reminiscent of the FliteSweep I show car. Three horizontal grille bars floated within a chrome surround. The new taillamps formed a natural extension of the uplifted outer rear bumper ends. The Windsor line had some further subseries that covered all body styles. A pillarless four-door hardtop was introduced and 12-volt electrical systems were adopted for all Chrysler models. Standard features included Oriflow shock absorbers, new safety door latches, independent parking brake, safety rim wheels and center plane brakes.
