1955 Chevy Pro Street / Drag Car Rolling Chassis project car (no engine or transmission). Looking to sell my '55 Chev project car as it has been sitting in my garage for the past 6 years and I have no time to work on it. I purchased the car 6 years ago from a seller on the east coast (where the car spent its entire time prior to me moving it to MN) and to my understanding the vehicle was a drag car for at least 30 years prior as the "Dream Child". I purchased the vehicle as a rolling drag race vehicle with the intent to turn it into a street legal pro street car 6 years ago and started tearing it down to do so... I have 2 young daughters now and zero time to work on it so am looking to sell it: Specs: 8 point roll cage New 1 piece fiberglass front end and tilt kit from Unlimited Products http://up22.com/chevy55N.htm#55-101. Vehicle wasn't in an accident, I just decided to buy fiberglass parts to lower vehicle weight. Tilt Front End kit is not fully installed yet but comes with the car. New Fiberglass trunk lid from Unlimited Products http://up22.com/chevy55N.htm#55102 Set Up for BBC but easily will accept SBC Has fiberglass front and rear bumpers Fully Tubbed Wheel Wells (***The last full size pic is what the car looked like with 32 X 14.5 tires and different front end when I purchased the vehicle but car now has truck 31" X 10.5" rear tires rims on it now to simply roll around on as you see in the other current pics and does not come with the slicks / rims or front end in the last full size pic). Car will accept larger than a 32X14.5 tire. Ladder bar rear end with coil overs Koni Front Drag Shocks Narrowed Dana rear with 4.86 Gears and Strange axles Comes with add'l items shown in pics (radiator, alternator, rear glass, driveshaft, etc.) Has lexan side windows and the doors have been hollowed out on the inside to reduce weight so if you would want to put stock windows in the vehicle you would need to replace the inside of the doors to do so. Rack and Pinion Front End Paint is bubbling in a few areas on the car Floor is pretty solid. (carpet was removed and the stuff you see on the wheel tubs on the inside is the glue from it) Everything that comes with the vehicle is in the pictures (there is no interior or steering column (I removed the column and sold it as it was race only column with no turn signals)) Please email me with any questions or concerns prior to bidding.
